Although the perception is that MIC 2025 is primarily geared towards stimulating the growth of Chinese, MIC 2025 will create opportunities for FIEs not only in primary cities but nationwide across China’s second tier and tertiary cities. Foreign enterprise is still competitive and will remain a key component for China to realize the vision of economic transformation in the medium term.
