Michael Lehmann

Born in 1975 in Rapperswil, Switzerland, Michael Lehmann obtained his law degree at Neuchâtel University in the French speaking part of Switzerland in October 2000.
Employed as a Trust Administrator at Barclays Bank (Suisse) SA. in Geneva, he continued his formation during this time in both, Trust Law and International Wealth Management. After being accepted to the Master in Business Law Program of Geneva and Lausanne Universities jointly, Michael Lehmann obtained his master degree in summer 2006. As part of the program, he took the chance to move to Shanghai, China in 2005.
Michael Lehmann has been nominated Executive Director of the Swiss Chinese Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai he became Business Development Director of the Shanghai-based Company sim (selective international management) in fall 2006, was promoted to General Manager in April 2008, became Partner in 2010 and owner of the company in 2014.
Michael Lehmann remained Secretary General of the Board of Directors of the Swiss Chinese Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai until 2013 and is member of several Board of Directors of international Companies.

Daniel publishes and lectures on the topics of cross-border and cross-cultural issues in the global hospitality- and tourism-industries. He regularly writes for Switzerland’s leading economy weekly «Handelszeitung» and other publications, and he talks at Business Schools and Corporate Events.

Daniel worked in total 13 years in England, Canada, Germany, France, Japan, and China: in the 70s, he served Switzerland’s national tourism board, stationed a.o. in Toronto and Paris; then he spent six years as tour operator in Tokyo. In 1987, he co-founded MCI, today the largest global congress- & association-management agency group. Ten years later, he created Spectrum Events in Zurich and New York. And from 2008 to 2010, Daniel consulted MCI in the build-up of their Shanghai-operation.

Based in his home-town Zurich, Daniel continues to travel extensively, consults individuals and enterprises, and reports on his ongoing learning-, travel- and networking-experiences.
